I've found the normally snappy forum and bugzilla web sites to be so slow as to time out and be useless tonight.

Is it just me or local network problems in my area or is Slim having a problem with their servers?

There's a networking problem that's causing severe issues with both
our web site (www, forums, lists, etc...) and SqueezeNetwork.

Dan's in the datacenter right now trying to figure out what's going on.

It looked like both the forums and their main web page
(!) were down for an hour or so.

Everything seems fine now.

Are things hosted in the southwest? I read somebody lost 2 lines today affecting CA, AZ, NV, and perhaps more.

The servers are hosted in Fremont, CA.

There was a small issue tonight, what looked like a DoS - I took the
opporunity to do some kernel upgrades, and moved servers and services around.

Everything should be back up now.

<iNoah> you know, most free operating systems come preinstalled with their own high horse.

Everything seemed golden again by 3AM EST. Sane snappy response we've gotten used to.

(don't ask why I was up then ... )

Who's the chief suspect, then - Roku or Sonos? ;)
