I've just started using SlimServer and I am having problems with it crashing when performing a music or playlist scan. I have checked the Event Window and get the following:

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application ) cannot be found.
The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message
DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use
the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details.
The following information is part of the event: Can't update www.allofmp3.com:
DBD::SQLite::st execute failed: column url is not unique(1) at dbdimp.c line 401 at
C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\CPAN/DBIx/ContextualFetch.pm line 51, <GEN13> line 4.
at /PerlApp/Slim/DataStores/DBI/DBIStore.pm line 1869

I have cut it down so that the music directory only contains a few WMA files, and the playlist directory 1 playlist refering only to the files in the music directory.

Can anyone help please ...

Can't update www.allofmp3.com:
Well, in the middle of that mess is this odd line.
I can't think of a reason that Slimserver would want to be (or could be) updating allofmp3.com

Did the music come from that web site?

Does that string show up in any of the tags for those songs?

Thanks,
After posting I cleared the URL tags off all my files with MP3TAG (a very good util) and all was ok.

Ah, and I was looking at nightly source from last night.

I just got a sb3 last week. things seemed to be working fine, but recently, i've had this problem: in some music folders, only the first song "works". when i try to play other songs, sb3 gives up and says it can't find the file. i can play the .mp3 file in winamp.

with 6.2.1, i saw the "column url is not unique ..." error in th e logfiles.

i tried upgrading to 6.2.2, but i'm still getting the following error:

2006-01-15 00:24:02.7187 DBD::SQLite::st execute failed: column url is not unique(1) at dbdimp.c line 401 at C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\CPAN/DBIx/ContextualFetch.pm line 51.

After the upgrade, did you do a full wipe of the database and rescan? This isn't ordinarily necessary, but would be in your case.
