I'm receiving the following errors which are preventing SlimServer 6.0b1
from starting:
DBD::SQLite::db prepare_cached failed: unrecognized token: ":"(1) at
dbdimp.c line 268 at
/home/kolding/SlimP3/SlimServer_v2005-03-08/CPAN/Ima/DBI.pm line 391.
DBD::SQLite::db prepare_cached failed: unrecognized token: ":"(1) at
dbdimp.c line 268 at
/home/kolding/SlimP3/SlimServer_v2005-03-08/CPAN/Ima/DBI.pm line 391.

I've been seeing these problems for a while when trying to run the 6.0
nightlies.

I see that somebody had reported this problem back in January, but I
haven't seen any responses.

I'm running on Linux (Redhat version 7 something), and I'm running perl
5.6.1.

Anybody got any ideas?

I'm also seeing these error messages:
Use of uninitialized value in string eq at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/i386-linux/XML/Parser.pm line 16.
Illegal hexadecimal digit '{' ignored at
/home/kolding/SlimP3/SlimServer_v2005-03-08/Slim/Utils/Text.pm line 38.
[[ repeated 3 more times ]]

These don't seem to be fatal at all, and can be removed by commenting
out line 38 in Slim/Utils/Text.pm. It's just translating the
scandinavian ae character, into distint a & e characters.

Thanks...
Eric

Eric - could you file a bug on this? As best we try to keep up with the mail
lists, it's not always possible. Filing a bug report at http://bugs.slimdevices.com/
makes sure it doesn't get lost.

On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place.
