Haven't seen this device mentioned here yet:

As the reviewer and review respondents note, all it needs is an LCD (making it a iPod), and a wireless adapter (making it a squeezebox with resident server software - no PC server required! needs FLAC support though) Pretty cheap too - would be in the same ballpark as SB with display and wireless added, I would imagine.
Any comments?

One of the main plus-points for me of the Squeezebox/Slimserver pairing
is that you only need your music in one place for as many players as you
want. You can't share your music between multiple players with this
device, if I'm reading right.

Yeah, but if they did put in a network adapter, or a slot for it so you put it in yourself, similar to the hard-drive - you would have the best of both worlds: access to the central repository, and if you want a portable unit, the capability to insert a HD. Looks like the best of both worlds to me. Looks like we need a little convergence between what the SB does and what this does!
I wonder how the software works?
