Everyone-

I ran into a problem today when I loaded my fiancee's Christmas CDs into SlimServer. She has two "A Christmas Album" CDs (Amy Grant and Barbra Streisand), but SlimServer seems to combine these two CDs into a single album in the web interface. Has anyone else run into this problem? And is there a known work-around? And for my own curiosity, is this issue in the database or in how SlimServer handles query returns?

Thanks!

Stephen

Thanks for the reference. I've added the "Common Title" and the library is rescanning now. I'm curious how this will turn out, since I'm using separator characters for some of the artists. I'll post an update if anything really bizarre happens.

Thanks again.

How about just inserting an extra space in the title of one of the discs?

Well, everyone will have their own solution to this (the extra space is a neat trick) but if it were me I'd rename them "A Christmas Album (Grant)" and "A Christmas Album (Streisand)" so that if you are browsing lists of Albums you can tell which is which...

I don't understand why slimserver doesn't just assume songs in
different directories are different albums? Does anyone store
songs from different albums in the same directory?
