Yeah, I will chime in on this - just discovered Squeezebox and its website refers to the Salling site, but no script. SB3 and Clicker look like the answer to me, but I'm not gonna spring the $$ for a SB unless I can control it over wifi with my Palm TX. I will send emails to both of them.

Salling Clicker is great and should work out of the box with each other.

Also consider that the web browser built into the tx should be able
to access the slimserver web interface using the built-in web browser
on the tx.

Either way, you should be able to try it out before you buy the SB3
by downloading the SlimServer software...

I can confirm that the Palm TX works just fine as a remote control using the handheld skin. You get pretty much what you get in any of the full sized skins on a PC including (if you have it) cover art,and access to all system and player settings without having to go to your PC.

I have a Sony TH-55 Palm-based handheld. Which skin do you use, and will it work on any Palm wifi handheld?

Try the Handheld skin (http://yourserver:9000/Handheld/).

I use the handheld skin which is part of the standard slimserver install, just put the word 'handheld' at the end of the url after the :9000/ and it should come straight up.

Should work with any wireless handheld that can run a web browser. The TX has version 4.3 of Palm's Blazer browser which works well. The only slight annoyance I have found is that I have 4 SBs on my network and the switching of the interface between showing info for the default SB and one of the others sometimes does not "take". A workaround seems to be to select Power Off for the default SB from the handheld and then it will alow you to switch to looking at one of the others.
