I am running SlimServer 6.2.1 (modified version from www.infrant.com) on a ReadyNAS RX6 with a new SB3. All seems to work well, and I am able to access various embedded external streams (RadioIO etc) as well as the SqueezeNetwork. However, when I try to tune in a favourite stream ( http://origin.www.cbc.ca/mrl2/livemedia/cbcr1-halifax.asx ) from the Internet Radio URL menu on the SlimServer Web interface, the Slimserver hangs, and the SB3 cannot find the SlimServer until I reboot the NAS server. I have opened ports 3483/TCP, 3483/UDP and 9000/TCP in my SonicWall firewall as specified for server installations.

Any suggestions for what I might be doing wrong here?

Thanks

I have played around with a nearly identical URL
from the same server:

http://origin.www.cbc.ca/mrl2/livemedia/cbcr1-london.asx

First off, can you play this through
SqueezeNetwork? I thought it wasn't working for
me for a while but after failing to open the
stream a couple of times it opens it consistently now.

Secondly, to get this to play in SlimServer for me
I have to put it in a playlist as the only entry,
although I recall radio tune-in worked OK for me
as well.

Is your Squeezebox resolving the URL to "CBC
RadioOne Halifax"?
