Unfortunately I can't run the non exe version here as we use a custom
build of perl that I cannot get to play nice with SlimServer.
Maybe now is the time to try 6.0 at home...

I believe this is specifically related to importer-based (iTunes,
Moodlogic, MusicMagic) scanning and not Music Directory scanning. When
importing via iTunes et al, we no longer read tag information from the
file. I believe this is incorrect - the importers don't necessarily have

all the information we need.

Try the attached patch after clearing your Cache.
