Does anyone have instructions for installing Biography on Mac OS 10.4. I
tried putting Biography in the plugins directory, but that did not work. I
serached around and did not really find much....Any assistance would be
appreciated.
Thanks.

I remember a discussion of this (and also of another of Michael's
plugins, probably AlbumReview) in which I helped someone install the
plugin.

You might try going to the Plugins forum, and resetting to show more
than just the past month, and you should be able to find it.

Until you have done this, try downloading Michael's MHCPAN modules.
He says they are for Windows, but my recollection is that they work.
And put the modules he specifically mentions into the right place in
SlimServer. That is, control-click to "Show package contents", and
inside the Contents, is the folder server>CPAN>HTML where the (two, I
think) Perl modules should live.

and can confirm the remedy - get the additional modules from Michael's site the MHCPAN ones. Download them to the desktop somewhere.

Find the "real" slimserver installation - the preference pane and "show package contents" find your way to the CPAN HTML folder. Open the MHCPAN download - you need the files in the HTML folder, copy them all and then paste them into the CPAN HTML folder - there will be a couple of duplicates - dont replace those. Then it will work. The annoyance (for me) is that you have to do this again everytime you install a later slimserver edition - I keep the MHCPAN folder to hand for this reason

Thanks. I'll try these (I am not at the computer now).
