I need some help with volume leveling. I have the new slim server, however I can not find where to adjust it?

I have a varied collection of FLACs & MP3s, many of which are recorded at different levels, which makes a mix listening experinece not at all optimal.

My question:
Will the volume leveling in SlimServer correct this?

I know that one alternative might be to roll everthing through Foobar and apply volume leveling to the actual files.

Some help would on this one would be appreciated. I'm trying to get into the swing of using the new squeezebox3. Thanks.

slimserver reads the information and makes the adjustments during payback. It
does not do the analysis or writing of the gain information. Foobar should do
the trick nicely.

Just be sure to use foobar to calculate and apply the replaygain tags to the files. Do _not_ level the actual sound on them.

Slimserver will then read those tags and apply the leveling without modifying you files.
