I would like to use a 3rd party db front end to access the slimserver db for reports, etc. However, I can't figure out what ports, usernames and passwords to use. So far, everything I've tried causes the front end UIs to crash.

I'm using SlimServer Version: 6.2b2 - 4738 on WinXP. Any guidance would be appreciated.

sqlitebrowser is a free, opensource browser that works fine.
No need for ports or usernames, just use it to open the file.

sqlitebrowser .slimserversql.db
works for me.
But I hate the leading dot, so I put in a symlink
link -s .slimserversql.db slimdb
so I can use 'slimdb'
as the file name

Looks promising, it opens the db just fine. Looks like I need to brush up on my SQL ccommand syntax! Thanks!
