Since moving to 6.2, I am having dropout problems. Every minute or two the player cuts out for a couple tenths of a second. Buffer goes from 99% to 0% instantly. I am playing a mix of mp3 and apple lossless, using XP, iTunes, and a wirelessly connected SB1. I moved to the latest 6.2.x nightly, uninstalled, reinstalled, rescanned, etc. CPU usage isn't doing anything unusual during the drops, and I don't have iTunes running.

What debug flags should I set?

Thanks,
Scott

Try setting the iTunes Rescan Interval to 0

Changed from 20000 to 0, still doing the same thing.

I've had some time to test it more systematically this morning. The problem seems limited to Apple Lossless files. I turned on bitrate limiting, and haven't heard any dropouts yet. So it looks like a new wireless interference issue somewhere. Time to get an SB3 I guess. :)

Spoke too soon. Right after that post, SS started crapping out with frequent dropouts, even on low bit rate internet radio streams. I unistalled and reverted to a 6.1.2 nightly I had sitting around, and it is now playing rock solid, even on lossless files.

So something is not right. Any ideas?
