Is there an eta on the release of 6.5?

I've reported a bug that is scheduled to be fix in release 6.5. And I'm on 6.2.1.

What happened to 6.3 and 6.4? :-)

Good question!!
Unless there are significant changes that warrant a version jump?

;)

Like running the scan in a separate process? Or maybe migrating to
mySQL? That sort of thing?

After having experienced some more problems than expected with 6.2 I would very much appriciate if we don't push too hard to get 6.5 out soon. I hope they take the time they need to make it right this time ;-)

There is no ETA as yet for 6.5 - this branch of development was only just started.

However, you can give it a try any time you like by downloading our nightly builds:

What a silly question. :-)

I spent 6 years in grad school
trying to figure out when software would be done,
or how to estimate it. I'm not "Doctor Pat" because
I couldn't figure it out, and no one else could either.

Its done when its done, altho I think it was
planned to be sooner rather than later. Of course
adding cool features takes time, so quit asking
for stuff
