View Full Version : Certain MP3s will not play (hang at start)

I have a particular album on which none of the songs will play on my real SB2. The display continues to show zero elapsed time. The songs will play on SoftSqueeze and xmms. I looked at the tags, and they look normal. I have looked in the slimserver log, and I do not see anything particularly interesting, but then I am new at deciphering logs, however, the things I would see when playing a properly working song do not appear. I've included a bit below in case it helps.

Also, how would I debug this, especially if it's something going on in firmware? Or is it better to send one of the songs in question to someone who could see what is happening?

-Thanks, Joe

The best thing to do would be to file a bug at http://
bugs.slimdevices.com and attach one of the files in question to the bug.

Thanks!
