I'm running sofsqueeze in linux (2.6.12-gentoo-r10) and have set softsqueeze to tunnel through ssh on my home LAN. After the first track softsqueeze refuses to play any more and the following error message appears on the command line:

Session.run: unsupported type 80

Software used:

Java 1.5.0_05
Softsqueeze 2.2
Slimserver 6.2.0

I use dsa private key for ssh. If ssh is not used softsqueeze works without problems. Could it be something with my sshd settings?

It certainly could! I found what was causing this. In my sshd_config I had ClientAliveInterval 1m. Softsqueeze doesn't like this and removing it removed the problem. It took me quite some time to find this so for reference for others and myself I'm posting it here.
