Well here's a SILLY question:

I'm a happy SB2 user. There's no need for me to upgrade to the SB3 (anyway, not until I decide to have another one in the bedroom, or until my SB2 dies).
But I do keep up with the latest software.
I don't like the SB3 icon sitting in my system tray and (even bigger) on my desktop. It stares at me, saying: 'you're lagging behind - there's even more beautiful hardware but you don't have it' or something... ;-)

So I'd be perfectly happy to change these icons back to my good old SB2 icons..is there any way to do this?

Betcha this is it:

[jack@felix jack]$ find /usr/local/slimserver/ -name *.ico
find: /usr/local/slimserver/tmp: Permission denied
/usr/local/slimserver/HTML/EN/html/mypage.ico

Your location will be different, of course. It might also be compiled
into one of your .exe's, in which case you're out of luck unless you
switch to running the script with ActivePerl.

If you're on Windows, I have an icon file that I created with either Resource Hacker or IconEdit32, I can't remember which. You can download it here:

dbls (dot) home (dot) comcast (dot) net/slim (dot) ico

I created this for Slim-related bookmarks, because Firefox seems incapable of using icons imbedded in .exe files.
