I upgraded the screen on my SB1 which means I have the old screen (40x2) sitting around gathering dust. I've done some cursory searching on the forums and the internet, but haven't found anything that seems interesting or possible with my limited skills. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do with it? Or maybe a point to some websites with good information? Any info would be appreciated.

The 40x2 display is compatible with standard Hitachi LCDs. Add a 5V power supply and attach a 25-pin cable, and you can use existing software out there to display things on it from a PC. Google for "parallel port LCD".

Nope - just those displays.

Just a bump to see if there are any more ideas.
