View Full Version : Does SlimServer do regular rescans of the library?

Since moving to 6.2 I get a regular 90-100% CPU usage from Perl on my Mac at the same time every day. Is it SlimServer doing a regular process, such as rescanning the library? If it is, how do I re-schedule this - I coudn't find an option in the server settings.

I wouldn't mind, but it hogs the CPU at 6-7pm every day, just when I want to start listening to music :-(

Have a look at the rescan plugin's settings.

Have a look at the rescan plugin's settings.

It was set to 12:00, which isn't when the slow down was happening. I assume that the time is system time and not timezone dependant?

I turned it off anyway, so I'll see what happens tomorrow!

thanks for the help.
