Hi all,

I am thinking of getting a Squeezebox device. But a very important question for me is if my cyrillic ID3 tags I have typed in with iTunes (so they are Unicode) on a Mac will be displayed properly on the LED. If someone can confirm that this works well, I'll order a device at once.

Thanks very much,

Ben

It is reported that 6.2 now supports unicde, though possibly only certain fonts. But why not try it out foryourself, for free? Download slimserver, install softsqueeze, see what happens...

you'll need to install a few fonts in order to make it work (licensing does'nt
allow them to be included with slimserver).

Instructions are in this thread:

I just checked with Dan - cyrillic works.
