View Full Version : Real Audio file problem

I have a few Real Audio files that Slimserver doesn't recognise. I assume this is because this is not a supported format. If so, is there a programme (ideally free of course) that can convert these in to a supported file format?

if you are running your slimserver on linux, do a search around for alienstream.
There is not yet any native support for real audio but alienstream allows on the fly conversion to lame MP3 which is passed onto the squeezebox

If you install the AlienBBC plugin you can play RealAudio but SlimServer won't find it for you so you'll have to setup playlists.
