Do some one know hardware with build in mp3 decoder and wired ethernet to upgrade some domestic audio devices (e.g. Kitchen radio) This stuff don't need to have display or something else, only to receive the http stream from the slimserver.

Thanks

Slim, or maybe it is Sean, sells OEM parts from a SqueezeBox.
Search the archives for a link, I don't have one handy

We don't actually.

http://gumstix.com/ running slimp3slave or Softsqueeze headless?

I wonder if the CPU will keep up, though I remember seeing a post
someplace about someone running slimp3slave on a Wl500G wireless
router.

Why not use a Squeezebox and hide the display? SB1's are available
on ebay and our customer service agents are standing by for SB2
orders at our new low price!

It'll be a lot easier to set up than other options, I'd imagine.

Clearly. Even if Sean says Slim won't sell parts, one can clearly
buy whole Squeezeboxen and take them apart, throwing away parts
that aren't needed. This might be a tad more pricey than the OP
wanted.
