Hi,

today I received my first SB2 and I love it... Just one thing is missing: a tool or web interface to setup my WPA WLAN settings od else I have to config the whole pass key with the remote control?

Can't be... or I'm wrong?

Well that's sort of a chicken and egg problem...

Without the WPA settings... the SB can't see the network.. so it can't configure itself from the network.

(I guess you could plug it into a wired connection, set it up, then move it... but then you'd have to move stuff around.)

No you're right. But you usually do it only once, not on a daily basis ;-)

Help translate SlimServer by using the

Is there a way to set the WLAN settings trough a web interface?

Or did I got you wrong?

There is no webserver that runs on the SB, and until you have set your WLAN settings, there is no way to connect to the SB to configure.

Some routers or other applicances have builtin web servers - SB does not.

You need to use the remote.
