I did a search and couldn't seem to find out the answer to this question, if it's been posted before I'm sorry.

I have two roommates with their own seperate computers and music libraries. We are all running Macs and iTunes. Being the generous guy I am, I'd like to let them be able to listen to their music through my squeezebox (which sits in the living room). They are both girls, an well, these girls like things to work easy and aren't too computer savvy. Any simple ways to set this up?

thanks

Well, it's been talked about.

hmmm... thanks Jim. maybe something more helpful like search terms I should use? I've already checked out "multiple itunes," "multiple slimservers," "two libraries" and haven't come up with what I need. thanks though for taking the time to be smug.

Wasn't trying to be smug, but a simple "No" would have been even less helpful. Try searches on "multiple libraries", "user profiles". Here are a couple of threads:

One way is to have each system run its own slimserver. Then, your SB can connect to the server of choice. From SB, you can select the server you want to use, but you have to go to the network setup screen to select it (just like you would select SqueezeNetwork, via the network setup page).

We'll tell you how to do it if you'll tell us how to get two girls as
room mates :-)
