- Is there a way for me to go about editing a track's ID3 tags?
- When setting the SlimServer to recognise files in the 'Music Folder' by their ID3 tags instead of their name, nothing changes. Suggestions?
- What is a good way/programme of converting FLAC files to MP3 (other than in Media Player/iTunes)?

Cheers!

1 - lots of tag editors out there. I use mp3tag from http://www.mp3tag.de/en/ (its free)

2 - you may need to rescan (and possibly clear cache)

3 - although I've not used it for this myself I'm told that foobar2000 is good for mass transcoding

For Q's 1 and 3 you might also want to search the forums at hydrogenaudio.org

How do I clear the cache? If by this you mean checking the Clear library before rescan box, and then clicking resacn, I've already done this without success. I've also used Mp3tag editor programme to make sure the tags are right and still no success. Any more suggestions?(maybe reinstalling slimserver?)

Cheers!

take a look through your playlists, make sure that none of them have the same
song and contain the #EXTINF metainfo.
