today I tried to make my first steps with v6 2005-01-22:
1.) Calling slimserver.pl ended in "Use of uninitialized value in
string eq at
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.1/i586-linux-thread-multi/XML/Parser.pm
line 17." and died. This was the source package without the CPAN
archive.
2.) The source package with the CPAN archive reported the same message
as in 1) and an additional second message before it died finally "Can't
locate auto/DBI/connect_cac.al in @INC (@INC contains: ...".
I'm on SuSE Linux v9.0.
