View Full Version : Shortcuts not displayed on Squeezebox

2005-10-04, 07:27
I have a Squeezebox2 and running SlimServer 6.1 on my PC. Since my music
is split accross 8 drives, I've created shortcuts and places the in the
folder c:\Music. I also pointed Slimserver to this folder when
installing. I do not see the links when browsing folders from the
SquezeBox. Upon pressing the right arrow I'm able to see the subfolders
but not the actual links. Since I have so many drives I need to be able
to browse the links.

I have the drive lables to correspond with the first name of each
artist, which is the same as the tag for artist name.

eg.

Drive 1: Artist_A
Drive 2: Artist_B

etc.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Are the other 7 drives local, or network drives? If the latter, there is an FAQ on solving the problem of allowing a service like Slimserver to access them.

They are all local drives.
