View Full Version : Anywhere to read what is updated in each nightly?

I haven't been able to find release notes or anything that tells what is included or updated in the nightly beta versions.

It would be great so that I could figure out whether it is worth while to apply the new beta.

Reason being, each time I run the nightly.exe, it overwrites my IR commands default.map which I have customized to make press and hold buttons do different things.

Also, anyway to install the beta so it does not overwrite customized default.map?

Instead of editing default.map, which will obviously be overwritten at
every update, use custom.map, which is not overwritten ;-).

Perfect, thanks for the links.

For custom.map, does that go in the same IR directory as default.map?

Should I only put the customized button mapping in the custom.map and not include the standard button mapping in there? I am not sure if sb2 looks at custom.map first for any custom items then to default.map for all other buttons if they are not defined in custom.map

Also, does the default.map file get updated much or is that pretty static at this point?

Yes.

Can't say for sure. But I'd guess it's pretty static.
