I've just realized that slimserver 6.1.1. is ignoring all my mp3 files with
the extension .MP3 (in capital letters), extension .mp3 is OK.

Is there any way of including these files? They do not show up in browse
music folder.

Does anyone know of a way of changing the extension from .MP3 to .mp3
easily? (I'm using Win XP)

Regards,

Peter

I just rediscovered this bug. I have about 500 tracks that 5.4 was totally happy with that 6.1.1 just refused to add to the database. I just spent about an hour trying to figure out what the h*** was going on. Special characters? Poorly formatted tags? Finally discovered that slimserver is rejecting *.MP3. Easy enough to write a script to lowercase everything, but I think ".MP3" is a valid (or at least common) extension.

This shouldn't be a problem with 6.2. Have you tried recent nightlies?

Fixed in the 6.2 nightlies.
