View Full Version : Transitions plugin crashes 6.2 nightly

I've been using the lovely dynamic transition updater (http://www.sutula.us/james/slimserver/), but installing a SlimServer 6.2 nightly recently caused a problem. Playing a song (I don't know if this occurs for all tracks, but I've tried it with 3 or 4) crashes SlimServer, and I get the following message in the Windows Event Viewer:

Undefined subroutine &Slim::Music::Info::info called at C:/Program Files/SlimServer/server/Plugins/Transitions.pm line 115.
Disabling the plugin allows me to play music again. My guess is that an internal API has changed in 6.2, and that Transitions.pm doesn't yet know about it.

Cheers,
Steve

the transistions plugins calls a function that is no longer in
slimserver. It will have to be updated.

I'll have an update up by this evening. Should be very minor changes. The code will actually be much smaller/cleaner now since Vidur put an updated version of my trackAlbumMatch function in the server code. (Thanks!)
