Hopefully no one has a problem with me posting this.

A friend of mine is trying to figure out what song is playing in the background in this clip from the TV show Teachers: Series 1 (third episode.) The show is currently running on the BBC four years after it's original airing on Channel 4 in the UK. He has posted a 42 second audio clip (MP3 format) from the show here:

http://www.dalyservicesgroup.com/tune/teachers_series1_episode3.mp3

I don't know what song it is although it sounds familiar. I'm posting this here since there are so many great music aficionado's lurking.

I don't recognise it, but there are four soundtrack albums listed on Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005B0HD/026-7177228-8418031); hopefully you or your friend might recognize a song title?

I tried typing some of the lyrics into google, but found nothing. May be worth pursing further tho.

Stuart.

Thanks, I'll forward that link to my buddy. Surely it has to be listed there.

Fantastic find re the bbcamerica link!

I've been puzzling over that track since I first saw the mail from
jtfields. I also tried Amazon, and googling the lyrics, but without
success ;)

I've got quite a few of the tracks listed for episode 3, so when I get
home I can go through a process of elimination to rule out a few :) My
money is on The Supernaturals :)

Just found a snippet on the web.

The track is called "Tricolore" by Mover.

Ah, well done!

I got as far as eliminating all tracks except those by Mover but have
been unable to find any samples or lyrics for either of the Mover songs.

Where did you find the snippet?

http://www.music.com/release/mover/1/

It shows a track listing for the album, and music clips in Windows Media
or Real format

Thanks guys. Tricolore by Mover is definitely it. The BBC link was a big help. I actually had already found the Music.com link and came here to post it but you beat me to it. :)

I've listened to that snippet so many times it's stuck in my head to the point that I may try to get a hold of that track myself.
