I seem to recall reading somewhere that "native" FLAC decoding
for the Squeezebox was in the works (e.g. Squeezebox receives
FLAC, decodes it locally instead of PC decoding FLAC,
streaming WAV).

Is this the case? Just curious. Server-side decode is fine
but native support would be that much cooler, not to mention
saving a bit of B/W.

It's in the works, but it may be a few weeks before we have anything to
