View Full Version : Adding Tracks to the playlist stops the currentplaying song

Hi Everyone,

I'm running svn 4085 on Linux with a mysql backend.

If I try to add songs to my currently playing playlist from the web
interface (Fishbone skin), the player stops playing and the current song
is set to the start of the playlist. If I add songs with the remote, the
unit continues playing the current song.

Regards,
Hakan

Where are you adding tracks from? artist? tracklists, playlists?
have you tried other skins?

Just tried... Adding single tracks or full albums from "Browse Artists",
"Browse Genre", "Browse Albums" etc. works (that is, the current song
continues playing).

"Browse Music Folder" seems to be the only problem, but I don't see any
unusual output in the log files (with --d_cli --d_sql). What other debug
flags should I use?

Not yet, I'll try that tomorrow.

d_source or d_command, perhaps.

I've managed to see it myself, in several skins that I've tested.

clearly what is wrong is in the 'playlist add' command (which is BMF
only). If you wish to make sure this is tracked, please file a bug
report.

Done, Bug # 2027 (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2027).

I just wanted to check the dev-list before submitting a bug because one
of my last problems got fixed in the time between my noticing the bug
and going to bugzilla to report it ;-)
