Where can I find the source for the various binaries included in the
Slimserver package?
I'm particularly interested in the source for the mDNSResponderPosix
program, as I'm trying to set up mDNS on all my Linux machines to make
them play better with our Macs. It appears that the Slimserver perl
script writes entries for three services into the mDNSResponder's config
file and then starts it. I'd rather start a separate system-wide
mDNSResponder daemon so I can easily configure it to advertise all the
services on my Linux box, not just the Squeezebox stuff.
Do the Squeezeboxes actually use the mDNS stuff in any way, or is it
just there to make the server's web pages visible to Macs that happen to
be browsing the network with Bonjour/Rendezvous?
