Loving the SB2 but there are two very frustrating things I can't seem to get to work.

1 - The albums I buy through iTunes do not show up in my album listing in SB2 (they are in the same music directory as my other mp3s).

update: I figured out that protected songs can not be played through SB2 so I have my answer...sucks but oh well.

2 - My iTunes play lists do not show up in the SB2 at all. I have tried to export the playlists to a directory and redirect the SB2 playlist directory to no avail.

update: I cleared my music folder and playlist folder settings in server settings and just directed SB to get the library from the iTunes music library xml file. My library is in fine but still no plyalists...grrr.

any help would be much appreciated.

1 - you can't play music purchased from the iTunes store on a
Squeezebox, due to the restrictive DRM, so they are ignored.

2 - can you give a bit more information?
It sounds like the rest of your music is appearing - do you have a music
folder defined or are just using the iTunes library scan?
Does the 'iTunes' tab appear in the SlimServer settings web page?

thanks James.

No I do not have a music or playlist folder defined in "server settings". I just have the song database pulling from iTunes. In the iTunes tab (it does show) I have it set up to find the iTunes library automatically (the directory for the iTunes Music Library xml file displayed is correct). The iTunes music folder is c:/mp3 which is where I store my mp3's. The iTunes playlist format (ie suffix and prefix) is blank (not defined).

thanks for the response..hope you can help me figure this out.

Hal,
There is a VERY old bug relating to missing iTunes playlists that some
people encounter - take a look at
http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1278

It's probably worth enabling the d_itunes debugging option and running a
rescan to see what comes up in the log.
The playlist scan luckily comes at the end of the iTunes scan.
