I am trying to get Magic Radio London to stream to SLIM. It used to work as an asx file, but they have just changed it to

http://www.txradica.net/emap.php?c=magic32kbit&.wvx=

Can anyone suggest how I get this to work with slimserver. It works fine in media player..<of course :-( >

Seems like the URL should be
http://earth.radica.com/magic32kbit?MSWMExt=.asf

Why do they make it so complicated?
You need to keep saving the links as files and looking what's in them.
Follow the trail...

SlimServer may prefer this URL:

<http://earth.radica.com/magic32kbit?MSWMExt=.wmv>

Same stream, minus the pesky ASF wrapper.

Another level!?
(my link did actually work though)

I was thinking, why can't SlimServer chase the links itself?
If it opens a stream and it's not music, look for an web address and
open that.
Keep going until you find some music or run out of links...

believe this is being baked in. not sure of status. if that ASF link
worked, and what little i know about the ASF format is not hopelessly
out of date, then some link following must be occuring.
