For some reason, slimserver is reading all of my mp3s, but isn't getting any of my playlists.

The path for iTunes Library file is:
M:\iTunes\iTunes Music Library.xml

The path for my music library is:
M:\iTunes\iTunes Music\

any ideas?

When you click on Server Settings, is there an option there to turn
itunes importing on and off?

If not, then SlimServer is having trouble accessing your iTunes Music
Library.xml file. I see that you have it on the M: drive, which I'm
guessing is a mapped network drive. If this is the case, check out
this FAQ entry:

actually, it's not mapped. I just renamed my media drive to the disk letter "m".

I have iTunes importing turned on, and it has, indeed, imported all of my files in iTunes -- just not my playlists.

Would you mind trying the 6.2b1 nightly release to see if this is still the case?

There's been a lot of work done on the iTunes importer.
