Is it possible to connect Softsqueeze to Squeezenetwork when behind a proxy?
(Without a proxy, I can connect with: java -Dslimserver=service.us.squeezenetwork.com -jar SoftSqueeze.jar)

You should be able to set -Dhttp.proxyHost and -Dhttp.proxyPort to appropriate values.

That did not work. I can't see any traces of those options in the Softsqueeze source code.
I am not using any SSH tunneling, just a plain connection to Squeezenetwork. What are the limitations/possibilites for such a connection from behind a proxy and firewall?

I'm not quite sure what I was thinking last night, as the name suggests those args are for setting HTTP proxy details, whereas (of course) softsqueeze doesn't use HTTP. Doh!
So unless (a) softsqueeze is coded to support proxies and (b) your proxy is set up to understand slimproto I think you're out of luck.
