I use slimserver to remotely serve my music to me at work. I fire up winamp and point to my server and start streaming. The problem is that I need to manually go into slimservers http interface to set the bitrate limiting since my ip address changes all the time (I'm always working at different sites).

What I want to do is set bitrate limiting permanantly for all remote connections to slimserver. I know I can do this by client, but how do I do it globaly?

connect to this url:
http://slimserverIP:9000/stream.mp3?bitrate=96

where slimserverIP is the address of your server and 96 is the bitrate that you
want.

One nice thing about forums is the possibility to search for eg. "winamp
bitrate limit". And you'd find eg.
