View Full Version : Scan Refuses To See One CD

I have two Afro Celt Sound System CDs; SlimServer will only find one of them
no matter how many times I rescan - whether wiping the cache or no. It's
only one CD but it's driving me mad.
I am on 6.1 Nightlies from 17th July, running as a Service under Win XP.
I am camping on my iTunes database - and iTunes can see both CDs perfectly
well. I have looked at the folders, and there is nothing weird in the
recalictrant CD folder, no shortcuts or anything.
Any ideas?

Can you browse to that folder using "Browse Music Folders"? What does the
log with "-d_file" active?

I can Browse there, and select it and play it!

What did your other question mean?

Once you've done that, will it show up in the Artstist/Album lists?

In Settings/Debugging you can turn on/off some debugging flags. At the top
of that page you have a link to the log file (usually
http://localhost:9000/log.txt). Turn on d_info, d_scan and d_file, browse
to that folder and open that log file. Search for your album title and see
what it says about it.

It did not then show up, unfortunately.

I'll try the other thing later - got to go out now...
