View Full Version : SB2 Pause/Resume

Hi

Whenever I pause during play, and leave it paused for longer than a minute or so, if I then un-pause the music will play to the end of that song and then stop. I have to hit skip for it to move to the next song on the playlist.

This is repeatable, and I presume it is a bug, but I thought I'd just check if it was some sort of expected behaviour?

I'm using slimserver 6.0.2, win xp sp2, squeezebox 2 wireless (happens when wired as well as I recall).

Cheers for any help

I have the same behavior with the latest nightly build of 6.1b2.

I used to have this but am unable to duplicate it with the latest
nightlies. It could be one of two things:

1) The issue has been fixed (for me)
2) The tracks for which this occurs are no longer on my playlist, so
I'm not seeing the issue any more

Does not seem to matter which track it is for me. I'll wiat for the next beta/release to come along and report back then if the problem still exists.

The next release is due out in mere days. If you have not tried the
latest nightly build, then please do so. If the bug still remains, you
had best file a report on it. Otherwise, it is very unlikely that the
next release will magically fix the problem for you.

Ok, fair enough, I'm trying it now. I'm generally a bit cautious with nightlies but I suppose I can always roll back.

If it helps, the nightly is very close to what the release will be.
Yes you can roll back. if you really are unsure about trying a nightly,
then you should try to file a bug report with as much as you do know
now.

So far it is all going well.

Can't (so far) get the pause problem to occur and my music all seems to be there.

ExBrowse2 is very nice...

All in all the best toy I've bought in years.

Just need an equally nice video version now.

And one with a big LCD screen that can host album covers, bios, lyrics etc while playing. Clips even.
