The summer heat is getting us...over the weekend, Slim Devices lowered the
prices on the award winning Squeezebox2!

* Squeezebox2 wireless is now $279 (instead of $299)
* Squeezebox2 wired is now $199 (instead of $249)

There's never been a better time to get a Squeezebox2!

Cheers,

Patrick

"I'm thoroughly impressed with the SqueezeBox2‹packing this number of
features into a high-quality product in this price range, and making it
absolutely user-friendly even for non-techies, is a feat that deserves a
standing ovation."

The ponies have been retired.

After receiving threatening emails from the "PLF" (AKA. Pony Liberation
Front) we decided to stop exploiting them for our collective amusement. ;-)

Don't sweat it...I don't expect a price drop in the UK for the wireless
unit. That price has been edging down on it's own.

Is this to be reflected in the UK price?
I have a wired SB2 on back order at the moment

It will probably take a while for this to happen.

Not sure whether the UK retailers get supplied directly from Slim
Devices, or whether they buy stock in from US suppliers. If the latter,
then they would need to sell off those units they already bought at a
higher price before they could introduce the new discount.

Patrick has already mentioned that he didn't think the UK would follow the price
drop since they have already been on a price reduction schedule of their own.

Fairly certain it was mentioned previously in this very thread.

Actually my previous comments were about wireless units. I am not certain
about wired since that price dropped more significantly. I've asked for
feedback from the distributor.

Craig

You might be better off contacting sales to cancel your order and then reordering. I ordered about 3 weeks ago and was told there is no price guarantee when I inquired about being within the typical 30 day price guarantee window some companies offer.
