View Full Version : Can't connect to SN message

Thought I'd let you know of something which I experience when swapping between the SN and my SlimServer.

When I try to connect I get a "Problem: Can't connect to SN" message for about a second and then it connects.

Similar thing happens when I sign off the SN and reconnect to my Slimserver. I get the message, and then a second later it brings up the menu fine.

Had a quick search through the bug DB but couldn't see anything obvious....

Chris.

This is a slightly different manifestation of bug 1620. It's in my
queue...

Is this the same problem as I've reported in http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=15091 and bug 1819?

Max

PS Any way of making the forums automatically create links to bugzilla for text in the form bug nnnnn?

Not really. 1620 is about an error message being displayed right away.

1819 is about how long the timeout should be before we display an
error message.

In either case, it will keep trying to connect...
