View Full Version : Understanding artwork

I'm trying to sort out the artwork for all of my music.

Slimserver lists the following image names as defaults:

cover.jpg
albumartsmall.jpg
folder.jpg
album.jpg
thumb.jpg

So the first question is how many different sizes of artwork does
SlimServer use? Is it just 2 sizes (a thumbnail and a full cover) and
that some of the above names are equivalent?

Secondly, are there any recommendations on what sizes the different
images should be?

Thirdly, is there any way to get Slimserver to list links to other
artwork in an album folder so I could view higher resolution artwork.
Ideally I'd like them to open in a new browser window. I'm guessing
though, that this might be more of an enhancement request.

Thanks

Richard

yes 2, basically same names, revers order for size reasons.

all of this is covered in the help section, under technical information.

not realy at this time. However, there is a biography plugin and album review
plugin that link to online images.
