I don't know what was happening, as I was asleep - not enough information for a bug report!

I was playing an album on a SqueezeBox wirelessly. I fell asleep, and in the morning noticed the display was blank. Looking in the Event Log, I see the following:

EOF instead of response status line at /PerlApp/Net/HTTP/Methods.pm line 300.
...propagated at /PerlApp/Net/HTTP/NB.pm line 32.

already WAS one, and fixed.

this is due to slimscrobbler. please update to the most recent cvs from the
scrobbler site.

I did that (copied cvs version 1.27 of scrobbler.pm into the plugins folder). However, the crash still happened (same error message).

I went back and noticed some scrobbler support files had been updated a few days ago too (BackgroundHTTP.pm, Session.pm and Track.pm files) to support non-English characters. I grabbed these too, and so far so good. The files I was playing didn't have any non-English characters, so I don't know if these updates were really required to fix my problem.
