sbg is leading slimp3 by about .5 seconds to 1 seconds, seems to be
happening between tracks. Slimscrobbler is installed, possible culprit?
Where should I turn on debug? By default Slimserver has only output this
to log:
Argument "61b1" isn't numeric in numeric gt (>) at
/usr/local/slimserver/Plugins/Alien/Plugin.pm line 541, <DATA> line 1.

which is of course the error that 6/26 had with AlienBBC (though
apparently non-fatal now, though I haven't initiated a rescan).

Imaginable - turn it off and you will know ;-). Slimscrobbler is accessing
some web site for every file you play (if I understood it right). If that
access takes a little longer it might make your server lag. Just an idea -
I never used it.

I'll turn it off when I get back from TX, but keep in mind that the
plugin is not supposed to access the site for every player, but for
every song :) I'm more inclined to suspect the hardware buffer size
difference.
