I just got a new SB2 in the UK but there does not seem to be an option to connect to the Squeezenetwork whilst my PC is turned off. The SB2 just tries to connect to my Slimserver then goes blank after a few seconds.

Go into the device's network setup where you can select to connect to the
SQN.

Also, make sure you have the latest firmware for the squeezebox2, (out of
the box, it doesn't support the squeezenetwork), this can be found in the
latest 6.1 nightly download.

Currently all traffic is being routed to California and back - which can
account for the lag as seen from across the pond. We will be establishing a
European presence for SqueezeNetwork at some point in the future.
