View Full Version : slimserver crashing with BSOD and connecting to...

slimserver 6.1 on a slimp3 w/ latest firmware, and winxp sp2 pro has been crashing often such that it kills the server with no log created, despite debugging options cheked in GUI.

Started server with with cli as
slim.exe --d_source

and got the following error
perl interpreter filed at /Perlapp/utf8_heavy.pl line 253

whre to go from here

bouton - is this using the latest nightly? We upgraded our PDK version last
night, which generates the .exe from the perl source code on Windows.

Did you happen to add music to your collection recently that has Unicode/accented characters?

mmm, i don't know. though this is not a reent thing, ben elin with it of and on for a few monhs.

i will empty library of all music but one album and try
