Hi,

In the slimserver, server settings, bottom of the page, the server info says:
6.1.0 - trunk - locale: cp1252

What does "locale: cp1252" mean?

How does it relate to the release number that I can see in the checkins archive (like r3301 for example).

Regards,
Michel

locale is used for unicode (utf8) support.

OK thanks.

Wouldn't it be nice for bug reports to also have an info field that shows what is the last bug fix integrated into that version of the software (like this r3301)?

that is why we make not of the change number as the bug gets marked fixed.

creating custom fields in bugzilla is not recommended.
