I am a novice to the inner workings of SlimServer but am usually good at following instructions. I looked at the documentation and it says I should be getting multiple headers back from "http://localhost:9000/status.txt". Specifically, I am looking for "x-playertitle", but none of the "x-player..." fields come up. What I get is:

"HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Fri, 13 May 2005 12:31:19 GMT
Content-Length: 71
Content-Type: text/plain
Expires: Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 GMT
Refresh: 30; url=status.txt

Now Playing (39 of 206) right -02:05linebreak1-5. Jam Iright"

What am I missing?

If you're really only starting, try the CLI. Use of these headers is imho
depreciated, it's a dead end. See

Thanks. How do I use the CLI from Applescript. I was using the web interface:

tell current application
do shell script "curl -u : -i http://localhost:9000/status.txt?player="

I am not sure how to access the Port for the CLI. I believe http is not the way.
