My collection is in Flac. I need MP3 for a portable.

What's the best program for windows to convert Flac to MP3?

Thanks for your help a head of time.

I use foobar2000 for that purpose and like it alot. Configuring it
the first time around can be a bit of a chore.

I second that vote, foobar2000 rocks. Setup preferences -> Diskwriter and
off you go!

If you're looking for something less complex to get setup and converting check out:

http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm

You'll need their specialized FLAC codec here:

I just used it for a bunch of flac tracks and it works great.

Mark,

I don't know about "best" but I use the following script:

As of writing, v0.2.1 is the latest.

I've not got round to getting it working on Windows yet (tested and used
on Linux).
